SERVICE PROVISIONS

  • By submitting a request you are agreeing to abide by Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Code.
All materials placed on Reserve must be within "Fair Use" guidelines as found in Section 107 of Title 17 of the U.S. Code.  A copyright brochure concerning Reserve items is available at the Reserve desk on request.
  • Fill out forms completely.
This speeds processing of your request. Please check the Library Catalog before submitting requests to locate correct call numbers.  Please provide the complete title, if available, with no abbreviations.
  • Electronic Reserve requests are not a "rush" service.
Requests submitted electronically are handled as written request forms.

  1. Electronic reserve requests should be received at least 5 days in advance of assignments to insure that materials will be ready.  Requests are processed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. Materials not listed in the Library Catalog may be ordered by noting Please Order in the Call Number entry field of the request form. The order process can take up to eight weeks.
  3. Instructor's personal copies of materials may be placed on Reserve in place of, or in addition to, University Library-owned materials.
