services: library photocopying & printing.
Photocopying and printing from the public computing workstations are available in the library.
Photocopying
Photocopiers are located on the first and main (second) floors of the library. Five copiers are available in the northeast section of the main floor—one disability access and one coin operated. Four copiers and a disability access copier are located in Room 100A, southeast corner of the first floor.
Most photocopiers accept the MavCard ID card and guest cards for payment. The cost of copying using the ID/guest card is $.05 per page.
One coin-operated photocopier is available on the main floor near the Circulation Desk. The cost of copying from the coin-operated copier is $.10 per page.
Printing
Black-and-white and color laser printing from the public-access computers is available for a fee. Print jobs are sent to the print station, centrally located between the Circulation and Reference Desks on the second (main floor).
Black-and-white printing costs $.05 per page; color printing costs $.30 per page. MavCard ID cards and guest cards must be used for printing.
The wireless print drivers can be downloaded from ITS's driver download page as well as directly from the Criss Library web server.
Six microform reader/printers are available in the southeast section of the first floor. These units can print microfilm or microfiche images to a desktop printer for $.15 per page, or the film/fiche can be scanned digitally and sent to the printers on the main floor for $.05 per page using the ID/guest card.
Purchasing Guest Cards and Adding Value MavCards / Guest Cards
Guest Cards may be purchased at the Card Value Center located in the library near the Reference Desk on the main floor.
The Card Value Center may also be used to add value to your MavCard or Guest Card. Other campus locations, including Milo Bail Stucent Center (MBSC), Arts and Sciences Hall (ASH), and the Peter Kiewit Institute (PKI), also host Card Value Centers.
The Card Value Center accepts $1, $5, $10 or $20 bills (no coins). Money can be also added by cash, check, MasterCard, VISA, Discover or American Express at MavCard Services, second floor of the Milo Bail Student Center (MBSC), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition to the Card Value Center, students, faculty, and staff may add value to their card by using MavCard Online. This site allows users to make deposits, view transactions and manage account settings online.
Instructions are posted near the station, and assistance is available from the library service desks.
