Criss Library has two multi-purpose Library Instruction Labs located on the first floor. The Instruction labs are used for Information Literacy and other Library-related Instruction as well as public lab space for library users.
Instruction Labs may be reserved for use by UNO faculty, staff,and students as well as Dual-Enrollment faculty and High School User Program participants when not in use by library faculty.
In General:
- Library and Information Literacy Instruction takes precedence over usage-only and use reservations are subject to rescheduling should a classroom be needed for library instruction.
- Labs are not available for presentations not related to the mission of the University Library.
- The Labs cannot be scheduled for regular university classes. The purpose of the spaces are for library and information literacy instruction, as well as public labs for library users.
- Instruction on how to use the equipment is available upon request. Each Lab has help guides and documentation available at the instructor's station.

- Instruction Labs are equipped with an instructor's station that includes an ELMO projector and laptop plug-in
- Overhead Projector
- White board and markers
- Computers have all library software installed
- Room 107 has 22 workstations; room 112 has 35
