Exhibit ends Thursday!!! Stop by H. Don and Connie J. Osborne Family Gallery in Criss Library to view the artwork of Terry Diel. “Smokin’ Hot Ladies is Terry’s tribute to some of the greatest actresses in early motion picture history. His medium of choice is a yellow #2 pencil which he uses to create wonderful images of women who were trained and nurtured by the largest movie studio systems in the world. This is an exhibition not to be missed!

Join Apollon for dinner, performing arts, live music and gallery arts May 11-13 & May 17-20 at UNO Criss Library.

Full-Time: Struggle and Satisfaction in Working America explores what it means and what it takes to earn a living and to make a life in our country. Inspired, in part, by the music of Bruce Springsteen, the work in Full-Time chronicles part of the dark side of the American Dream through the eyes of people for whom it may never be more than an unattainable standard. Each show includes a gourmet meal, gallery exhibition, and original performance. All performances occur at the Criss Library on the UNO campus.

UNO Criss Library presents Unhung: Created By Design works by Omaha artists Teonne Wright and Yvette Goodwin February 20 – March 22, 2012 in the H. Don & Connie J. Osborne Family Gallery on the main floor of the Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Library at University of Nebraska at Omaha. An opening reception will be held at the Osborne Family Gallery Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Stop by Criss Library Sunday October 2 to see the famous farmer painting folk art of Hu County, China. The art depicts daily life in rural China through wall paintings, embroidery and paper cuts. Works by Mr. Zhijian Luo and Mr. Wenji Wang, curators of the Hu County Farmer Paintings Museum, have won wide recognition and will be on display.

The exhibit will be south of the Osborne Family Gallery on the main floor of the library.
